What Is the Luxe & Luminous Collection?
The Luxe & Luminous Collection is a quarterly subscription box by the team at Sisters From AARP. Each box offers select products from Black creatives and Black business owners, along with other custom-designed items that we think you’ll love.
In fact, each seasonal box includes seven to 12 curated items in a variety of lifestyle categories, with each collection averaging $200 or more in retail value. Each box also includes an exclusive magazine featuring timely tips, info, inspiration and more for Luxe & Luminous Collection subscribers.
As a subscriber, you also gain access to an exclusive online community where you can connect with other amazing women, access special giveaways and offers, and share your suggestions for upcoming collections. You can join us there on Facebook.
While this subscription box isn’t a magic potion — because we don’t need those — we think it can encourage joy and inspiration in your day-to-day life and help you celebrate yourself. Because you deserve it all.

About the Box
How Often Will I Receive My Luxe & Luminous Collection?
The Luxe & Luminous Collection is a quarterly subscription service that delivers four boxes each calendar year (one per season). You can sign up for a quarterly plan (billed automatically every three months). The timing of your first box will depend on when you signed up relative to each season’s shipping schedule. (See the “Shipping” section below for more information.)
Can I Give a Luxe & Luminous Collection Subscription as a Gift?
You can! The easiest way to gift a Luxe & Luminous Collection subscription is to place a new order that specifies your recipient’s contact and shipping information when you check out. You’ll then receive an order confirmation that includes a link to print or download a gift notice that you can send her while she awaits her first box.
Please note: Subscriptions that are sent as gifts will still be billed automatically depending on which plan you select. If you want to order a single box as a gift, select the single box plan.
Why Do You Ask For My T-Shirt Size When Selecting A Plan?
The Luxe & Luminous Collection features a mix of curated products that can include apparel and accessories. We ask for your T-shirt size when you order so we can send your wearable items in the right size.
Shipping
When Does Each Luxe & Luminous Collection Ship?
Each Luxe & Luminous Collection ships once per season to all subscribers. You will get a notification when each collection is ready to ship.
Which Countries Do You Ship To?
The Luxe & Luminous Collection is currently only available to ship in the United States.
How Much Is Shipping?
Free Shipping is included with our quarterly plan. There is a $5 shipping charge for the single box option.
Once My Box Ships, How Long Does It Take To Arrive?
You will receive a shipping notification and tracking number when your box is shipped via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). After you receive this notification, your box will typically arrive within one to five business days.
For new subscribers that join after a season’s box has started shipping, if inventory is still available, your box may take up to two additional weeks to ship.

Plans & Payment
Does My Subscription Automatically Renew?
Yes, your Luxe & Luminous Collection subscription will automatically renew at the end of your plan period. For Quarterly Plans, your subscription will renew each quarter (every 3 months) for another quarter.
When Will I Be Billed for My Subscription?
Upon sign-up, you will be charged $50 plus applicable taxes for a quarterly plan subscription. Your plan will automatically renew at the end of the plan period.
Quarterly plan subscribers will be billed for each subsequent box on or around the dates listed below. Please note that dates are subject to change and will be updated quarterly as needed.
• Spring (April) Collection: automatically billed on March 15th
• Summer (July) Collection: automatically billed on July 5th
• Fall (October) Collection: automatically billed on October 2nd
• Winter (December) Collection: automatically billed November 15th
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
How Do I Update My Payment Information?
You can update credit card information on file at any time by logging in to your Luxe & Luminous Collection account.
From there, click Manage My Subscriptions, then choose Edit under Billing Information.
How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
We’re sorry to see you go! You can cancel your subscription anytime by logging in to your Luxe & Luminous Collection account. From there, navigate to My Account," click on Manage My Subscriptions, then select Edit under Subscription Status and change it from Active to Inactive.

What Happens if I Cancel My Subscription After I’ve Been Billed for My Next Box?
Your plan can be canceled at any time. To prevent being billed for the next season’s box, you must cancel your subscription before the next billing date. Billing dates can be found here in the FAQs.
For example, if you subscribed to the quarterly plan, and the first box you received was the Spring Box, you would need to cancel your subscription before the Summer Box billing date to prevent being charged for the Summer Box.
Please note that inactivating your plan does not cancel any open orders. If your plan is inactivated after your plan was renewed, your cancellation will take effect for the following quarter’s box and you will still receive the box that you were charged for.
Do I Get a Refund if I Cancel My Annual Subscription?
Your annual plan can be canceled at any time. Prorated partial refunds may be provided depending on the time of cancellation and the number of boxes shipped. Any refunds for annual plan subscriptions will be adjusted to cancel out plan savings/discounts.
To prevent your subscription from being auto-renewed, you must cancel your subscription before the billing date following the shipment of the fourth and final box of your annual plan. Billing dates can be found in the FAQs.
For example, if you subscribed to the annual plan and the first box you received was the Spring Box, you would still receive the Summer Box, Fall Box and Winter Box. You would need to cancel your subscription before the billing date of the next Spring Box to prevent your plan from being auto-renewed.
*Pro-rated refunds may be provided depending on the time of cancellation and the number of boxes shipped. Any refunds for annual subscriptions will be adjusted to cancel out plan savings/discounts.
Account
How Do I Update My Shipping Address?
To update your billing and shipping address, log in, click on My Account Icon > choose Manage Subscriptions > select Edit on your current subscription and you will be able to update your billing and shipping addresses.
Make sure everything is up to date and spelled correctly! To avoid having your package lost, please log in and verify your shipping information before the following dates:
• Spring Collection − March 14th
• Summer Collection − July 3rd
• Fall Collection − October 1st
• Winter Collection − November 14th
How Do I Change My Shirt Size?
To change your shirt size, log in, click on My Account, then choose Manage Subscriptions, select Edit on your current subscription and click Change Product Size. Please verify your shirt size before the following dates:
• Spring Collection − March 14th
• Summer Collection − July 3rd
• Fall Collection − October 1st
• Winter Collection − November 14th
Exchanges & Returns
I Received an Item That Is Broken or Damaged. What Should I Do?
If you’ve received a broken or damaged item, please reach out to us at contact@luxeandluminous.com and include the full name and email address associated with your account, along with any photos documenting the damage. Note that any requests to replace a damaged item must be made within 30 days of receiving your shipment.
Also, please note that due to inventory changes, we cannot always guarantee that an exact replacement for a damaged item may be available. If a replacement for the damaged item is available, we will be sure to send you tracking information once your replacement has shipped.
In such cases where a replacement item is not available, we may provide you with a partial refund on your subscription that covers the value of the damaged item. The partial refund may take up to eight weeks after your request has been submitted and processed.
My Shipping Box Arrived Damaged or Dented. Can You Help?
We put a lot of thought into designing our boxes to make sure they are visually appealing. Please keep in mind the box is primarily for shipping and is designed to protect what’s inside. We, unfortunately, cannot provide replacements or refunds for a damaged box.
I Received the Wrong Size Item in My Box, What Should I Do?
Depending on apparel availability, our customer service team will be able to help. Please send an email to contact@luxeandluminous.com.
Please note: We are not responsible for the payment of the return shipping. However, if you are exchanging an item for another one, the new item will be shipped back to you for free. If the item doesn’t fit and you would prefer a refund we will credit you back on the card you used for the purchase. However shipping costs will not be refunded.
